AWS Step Functions

AWS Step Functions is Amazon Web Services' serverless workflow service. You define a state machine of steps in JSON (Amazon States Language) or in the visual Workflow Studio, and Step Functions runs them in order with built-in retries, error handling, parallel branches and human-approval callbacks, orchestrating over 220 AWS services. Standard workflows can run for up to a year and keep a full execution history; Express workflows are built for short, high-volume runs. Standard workflows are billed per state transition, with 4,000 free transitions a month.
